Divided,The - “World You're Living In” 12"LP lim. 400 black

THE DIVIDED is a pretty new band with a lot of familiar and well-known faces:
The band members have written huge parts of the BONECRUSHER saga: We have front man Raybo, who is able to write deep and impressive texts and has of course one of the most remarkable voice of the scene, there is Noah Lysek on drums, there is Pat Hall and Brian Celi on guitars - they all were former members of the O.C. Punk legend named above.
Plus Richard Zaydel on Bass.
In a normal world the review should end here.

At their debut album the band rolls over everything and everybody and you easily can sort in "The World You're Living In" between the milestones "Working For Nothing" and "Followers Of A Brutal Calling".
Raybo is able to put brutality and emotion into his performance like on one else in the biz, the guitars keep up speed and melody and there are powerful choruses which are more frightening than the army of Saruman in front of Helms Klamm.
The Euro version on Contra Records and the american one on Hostage have both 2 exclusive songs ("No Hope" / "Madness").
