Euskal Bastards - s/t 12"LP

The story of EUSKAL BASTARDS begins in November 2019, exactly on 12-21-2019, when MALOS TIEMPOS BASTARDS invited me (Mikelon) to sing a PETER song at the tribute held at the Mogambo hall in Donostia to IVAN OLAZABAL, who was the bassist of MALOS TIEMPOS and SANTOS INOCENTES, among others. At the time we got together sporadically to do covers with adapted lyrics, including one dedicated to IVAN. But it was on 1-21-2023 at the tribute concert for MANOLO MANE and IÑAKI BASELGA held at the TUNK hall in Irún when the project began to take shape, preparing a repertoire of covers and some of our own songs with lyrics dedicated to those honored and to some others who are no longer with us. From then on we started to rehearse more seriously and prepare new songs. We have currently recorded eight tracks with AITOR PEREZ as our engineer, who, apart from recording and advising us, also played second guitar on all of them. He had previously collaborated with EB at the Irún Festival, and from then on, he participated in more concerts, and is now a member of the band. Our repertoire includes adapted versions and our own songs sung in Spanish and Basque in a classic Punk style. The lyrics are generally dedicated to comrades who are no longer with us, to mistreated groups, or are personal themes of our daily struggles, which is why we call ourselves Elkartasun Punka (Solidarity Punk).
EUSKAL BASTARDS is made up of veterans of Gipuzkoan Punk: MAKA - Drums, ALVARITO - Bass, TXINARROCK - Guitar, AITOR - Guitar, MIKELON - Vocals. Between us all we have backgrounds in countless groups; ANTI-REGIMEN, OPTALIDON, HOLY INNOCENTS, BAD TIMES, MICKY KAOS, GERM, EZIN IZAN, LUSTY MEN, DISORDER, DEATH CERTIFICATE, APURTU, HUMAN DEFECT, TORPEDO D., OZTOPOKA.
Currently Alvarito, Txinarrock and Maka form MALOS TIEMPOS BASTARDOS, and Alvarito plays bass with YOUNG KIDS, on the other hand Maka, Txinarrock and Mikelon share a band in ZIRT ZART with Javi Destruye, creator of the legendary fanzine DESTRUYE!!!, and Aitor plays in KAOS KOOPERATIV, in addition Aitor and Mikelon are in ANTI-REGIMEN
