V/a AKA (Hateful) / UPPERCUTS - Split 12"LP lim. 100 black

There is no one else behind the name of AKA than the well known scottish punk rocker of HATEFUL, who share their love for rather unknown, obscure cover-versions under these pseudonym. Don't worry, there will be not another boring version of "Blitzkrieg Pop" or "If the Kids are united" on this record. Kev and his mates choose much crazier songs. For example "Stick together", the title track of an 80ies series from the british TV, "I want to be a punk rocker" - the b-side of the scottish football anthem for the world cup in 1978 or a bit better known songs such as "My town" by SLADE or "Delirious" by HEAVY METAL KIDS. As you know HATEFUL - they always deliver highest quality punk rock between the poles of (old) COCK SPARRER (pre-"Shock Troops" era) and THE PROFESSIONALS. And guess what? THE PROFESSIONALS get their homage by berlin female fronted punk outfit UPPERCUTS.

Vocalist Manja reminds sometimes to the great Penelope Houston from the almighty AVENGERS and friends of the (old) DEADLINE will also be satisfied with the sound of the UPPERCUTS.

The record is limited to 500, there will be 100 in black, 200 in random-bright-marble and 200 in dark-random-marble wax.
