Each band delivers an original track in their own style, while also collaborating on a transformative cover of Leonard Cohen’s prophetic anthem, “The Future,” in which members of both bands play together.
With artwork by street artist GIVE UP, this split is an all-out sensory experience suitable for these chaotic times that Cohen himself predicted.
And for the cherry on top, Liberty & Justice’s original track was co-written by Austin Sparkman of Haywire.
Sonically, Die Young and Liberty & Justice may seem like an unlikely pair, but with their shared roots in the Texas DIY hardcore/punk scene, the spirit of the underground is undeniably united on this subgenre-bending, limited split release.
